A structured program not just a talking group

This is a 6-week structured group program for ages 11–14 designed to help young people build emotional and social skills.

Understand and name their emotions

Manage overwhelm and frustration

Pausing before reacting impulsively

Navigate friendships and social situations

Communicate more clearly and confidently

Understanding personal boundaries and respectful behaviour

This is not an open discussion group. It is a guided, structured skills program.

What sessions look like

Each session is planned and facilitated. There is no unstructured or free-for-all sharing.

Clear safety and boundaries

To ensure a safe and appropriate environment for all participants:

All sessions are age-appropriate and professionally facilitated

Discussions are structured and guided at all times

No personal explicit content is discussed or explored

Participants are not required to share personal experiences

Respectful language and behaviour is expected at all times

Confidentiality within the group is maintained (with standard safety limits for safeguarding)

Topics related to growing up, boundaries, and social understanding are handled in a general, educational, and non-explicit way

The focus is always on emotional understanding, respect, and healthy communication
