What Is Measured Recovery?
Recovery from injury is rarely just physical. Pain, stress, poor sleep and worry about re-injury can all slow your progress, even when your body is healing well.
Measured Recovery brings your physiotherapist and a Registered Clinical Counsellor together around one plan. We use force-plate testing and short, validated questionnaires to measure how you move and how you’re coping, then retest along the way so you can see your progress.
What It Helps With

Treating the whole picture
Address the physical and emotional sides of recovery together, instead of in separate places with separate plans.

Rebuilding confidence
Work through fear of movement or re-injury while you rebuild strength, so you feel ready, not just pain-free.

Seeing real progress
Track change in your strength, balance and wellbeing with numbers at the start, middle and end of your program.

Documenting your recovery
Finish with a Recovery Report you can share with your doctor, employer or insurer.
How It Works
1. Baseline Assessment
(Week 0)
Address the physical and emotional sides of recovery together, instead of in separate places with separate plans.
2. Coordinated Care
(Weeks 1–5)
You start your personalized physiotherapy plan. If your results suggest stress or fear of movement may be affecting your recovery, we'll book a Recovery Check-in with our counsellor, in person or online.
3. Midpoint Retest
(Week 6)
We repeat your testing, review your progress with you and adjust your plan.
4. Build Strength and Confidence
(Weeks 7–11)
Your physiotherapy progresses, with counselling support continuing if it's helping.
5. Final Retest and Recovery Report
(Week 12)
A final round of testing and your personal Recovery Report: a clear before-and-after picture of your recovery.
